POSITION DESCRIPTION

Service groups typically volunteer one time or infrequently. Available in-house projects for service groups include bagging pet food, labeling food baggies, making centerpieces or other items, stuffing envelopes, set up or tear down and/or running activities for events. If there is an appropriate need, it may be possible for a group to participate in outdoor chores at the home of a senior citizen. At least one adult leader must supervise youth service groups.

Service groups usually have a specific date and timeframe in mind for when to conduct their service. The ability to accommodate the group’s request is dependent on the need for services or the proximity to a SourcePoint event.
